This Sunday, knit with Build! They will be spending a cozy afternoon knitting the Melt the ICE hat. All are welcome, including total beginners! Warm drinks will be available for sale.

Proceeds from this event will go to the Powderhorn Neighbors fund, a community-run direct relief mutual aid fund providing rent support and other urgent resources for Minneapolis families sheltering in place in the face of the ongoing violent assault of ICE occupation.

Chef Didier’s selections will include a number of favorites, just in time for Valentine’s Day:

Winter soups - green split pea, matzo ball, and fresh lobster bisque.

Pâtés - campagne et duck terrine, plus a few rillettes.

Quiches - lorraine, spanish & forest. A wonderful treat for Sunday, the day after Valentine’s Day.

Entrees - boeuf bourguignon and coq au vin. Another great option for Valentine's Day.

As always, a few stuffed baguettes.

This week’s featured flavor, Chocolate Covered Strawberry Ice Cream, is crafted especially for Valentine’s Day.

They fold peak-season local strawberries into our creamy base and layer in silky ribbons of rich, fair-trade chocolate for a beautifully balanced take on the classic chocolate-covered strawberry.

For this batch, they used the final local strawberries they preserved at peak ripeness over the summer. Bright fruit meets deep cocoa in a flavor that feels both fresh and indulgent.
