Vendor Spotlight: J2K Capraio and Stamper Cheese

Handcrafting cheese from scratch since 2011, J2K Capraio brings farmstead artistry from their 23-acre family farm in Walkerton, Indiana. Each wheel is aged in their underground cheese cave—the only one of its kind in the state.

From milking their own animals to caring for the herd, owners Josiah and Jody transform fresh goat and cow milk into exceptional small-batch cheeses. Rooted in a slow, hands-on process, their craft is truly a family effort. Josiah, Jody, and their children, Sofia, Joey, Frances, and Nicolas, all play a role in keeping their farmstead operation thriving. Even Rusty, the farm dog, has a job to do.

J2K produces a delicious variety, including soft, spreadable cheeses perfect for crackers or charcuterie, and firm, aged cheeses that develop rich depth in Indiana’s first and only underground cheese cave. In addition to cheeses, they offer flavorful pork sausages in garlic and spicy varieties that make holiday boards, brunches, and cozy meals even more memorable.

Stop by their stall this Saturday and sample some of their tasty offerings!
