Stamper Cheese
An original Market vendor, Stamper has been supplying our community with its creamy, delicious cheeses since 2008.
However, it all began in 2006, when cheesemaker Dan Posselt of Shawano, Wisconsin, joined forces with his lifelong friend Bret Stamper. Being a small cheesemaker in a state dominated by large industrial producers is challenging, but with a commitment to sourcing local milk to create their cheeses, these two friends continue to push forward with passion and gratitude for their community. Together, they’ve built a thriving operation cherished across the region.
Stamper offers a rich and diverse selection, including seasonal favorites such as Cranberry Cheddar and the velvety Rush Creek Reserve, along with smoked cheeses, pistachio-aged wheels, and varieties aged up to ten years. Each batch is thoughtfully crafted, combining old-world technique with Midwestern flavor.
Stop by their stall this Saturday to find the perfect cheese to go with your eggs, top your burger, or add to your holiday charcuterie board.
