Chicago's parks belong to everyone—from the North Side to the South Side to the West Side—and Friends of the Parks wants to hear directly from community members about what they want to see in their parks.

This summer, Friends of the Parks is hosting a series of Community Dialogues across the city, inviting neighbors to share their vision for the future of Chicago's public spaces. Next Tuesday, the organization will host its South Side Community Dialogue at Experimental Station. The event will be followed immediately by the Park Heroes Awards, celebrating community leaders, volunteers, and Chicago Park District staff who go above and beyond for Chicago's parks.

Attendees are encouraged to stay for the awards celebration following the dialogue, connect with fellow community members, and take part in meaningful conversations about what it will take to keep Chicago's parks free and accessible for all.
