Movie Night: Fresh Kill

  • Experimental Station 6100 South Blackstone Avenue Chicago, IL, 60637 United States (map)

Thursday, August 6 | 7–10pm
Experimental Station
Co-hosted by Common Threads & Experimental Station

🎬 Movie Night is back next week—Thursday, August 6!

This month, Common Threads presents Fresh Kill by Shu Lea Cheang. Released in 1994, this cyberpunk eco-thriller was truly ahead of its time. Bold, expressive, and uncompromising, Fresh Kill is a wild ride that blends environmental activism, media satire, and the chaos of the early internet. Shu Lea Cheang's visionary storytelling feels just as relevant today.

But Movie Night is about more than watching a film. It's about gathering in community, sparking conversation, building connections, and exploring the social issues that shape our world—together.

🍿 Refreshments will be provided.

Please RSVP, and we'll see you there!
