NEW VENDORS

  • Eden Place Farm (Chicago) is a community endeavor that brings fresh produce to the communities of Fuller Park, Bronzeville, Englewood, and New City in Chicago. The farm also serves as an agricultural learning center that trains residents to be the new workforce of urban farmers. This week, they will bring a variety of fresh spring produce.

  • Four Season Farm (Bonfield, IL): will bring a variety of seedlings, including: tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers, onions, calendula, lovege, rosemary, curry, lemon verbena, basil, Eggplant, watermelon, Cucumber, cucamelon, lemon grass, lemon thyme, strawberries, ground cherry, Celery, celeriac, Cabbage, Brussels sprouts, Broccoli, Califlower, red Cabbage, kale, parsley, rhubarb, peanuts, Zucchini, leeks, chives, mint, catnip.

  • Sidekick Ferments - coming June 7th! Sidekick Ferments is a small-batch fermented food business, focused on creating gut nourishing foods. They utilize traditional methods of lacto-fermentation. 

  • Earthlore Farm (Beaverville, IL): will bring many varieties of seedlings, including: multiple tomato varieties, peppers, basil, lemon basil, cilantro, dill, thyme, rosemary, scallions, kale, swiss chard, lettuce, cucumbers, zucchini, annual flowers (zinnia, cosmos, nasturtium, marigold) and more! (Attending May 17 and June 7 only!)

  • Bennett Farms will have their very popular and rarely available Sassy Honey BBQ Bratwurst available this weekend.   We only have this flavor made a few times per year so be sure to stock up.

  • Black Taco (Hyde Park, Chicago) will have Tacos (Steak, Chicken, Mixed Vegetables), Chilaquiles (Steak, Chicken, Mixed Vegetables, Plain), Elote, Salsa, Guacamole, and Limeade. Black Taco is a vibrant, locally-owned taco stand bringing bold, authentic flavors to the heart of the farmers market. Twyla and Bailey Estell, mother and daughter duo, serve handcrafted tacos made with fresh-farm ingredients and homemade salsas — all with a focus on quality, sustainability, and community. Come hungry and leave happy—Black Taco is here to satisfy and inspire.

  • Growing Home will bring chard, collard, mustard, turnip greens, kale, arugula, salad mix, spinach, hakurei turnips, radishes, carrots, beets, baby bok choi, and scallions. They will also bring patio tomatoes and possibly some additional seedlings.

  • The Market will have plenty of Zenner Family Pure Maple Syrup from Medford, Wisconsin, in large and small sizes. Stop at the red Market information tent to purchase yours. All proceeds from sales of maple syrup help to support the Market's activities.

  • Build Coffee (Chicago) has our Saturday Specials (Early Bird is officially worth flying in for), hot and cold drinks, and fresh bread and pastries from Publican Quality Breads. Breads can be pre-ordered at buildcoffee.square.site .

  • Gormans Fresh Produce (Monee, IL) will have ramp pesto and (depending on weather and mother nature) potentially fresh ramps, pickled scapes, potted herbs, frozen items (cherry tomatoes, sweet corn, chopped peppers, and onion/peppers packs). They will also have T-shirts back in stock in sizes XS- 2XL.

  • The Urban Canopy (Chicago)  is pioneering the local food cycle to create a more sustainable and equitable food system in Chicago. We are growers, distributors, composters and community members who seek to positively impact our city’s environment, people’s health, and local economy. We strive to make healthy produce accessible to all, reduce the miles fresh food travels, keep food waste out of landfills, and create and maintain local jobs.

  • Mint Creek Farm will bring lots of ground meats to market including their grass fed ground turkey, beef, goat, lamb, or pork along with a wide selection of grass fed meat cuts, all raised on Certified-Organic Prairie Pastures in Illinois! That means stews, chops, roasts, sausages and more. Plus, their 100% grass-fed and grass-finished Angus beef cuts are restocked! They will also bring eggs and Janie's Mill flours & cornmeal.

  • Ellis Family Farm (Benton Harbor, MI) will have strawberries, asparagus, rhubarb, honeycrisp, apples, ever crisp apples, honey, eggs, fresh pressed apple cider, and jams.

  • Mick Klug Farm (St. Joseph, MI) will have very few strawberries, Purple Asparagus (sorted three ways), Green Asparagus (sorted three ways), Rhubarb, Frozen Berries and Cherries, Apple Cider, Jams and Honey.

  • Hook Point Fisheries (Chicago) has got lots on offer this summer. They've got wild-caught Alaskan sockeye salmon, sablefish, halibut, and Pacific cod. Their smokehouse has been busy, too. They'll have smoked salmon, smoked sablefish, salmon jerky, and their wicked salmon dip. They'll also have freeze-dried pet treats.

  • Phoenix Bean (Chicago) tofu company is excited to return to the 61st St market. We have a variety of tofu items, including extra firm, smoked tofu, baked yellow tofu, fried tofu, as well as five different salad varieties, tofu dip, and tofu scramble, so be sure to stop by our booth to sample and pick up some tofu!

  • Bot Bakery (Chicago) will bring Sourdough bread, Blueberry thyme pies, Micro green pesto brioche, Top hat cookies (get them while you can!), Passion fruit iced lavender butter mochi, Donuts, brownies, cupcakes cookies and more.

  • Pleasant House Pies (Chicago) will have their classic royal pies available each week. Their selection of seasonal pies and galettes will depend on the fresh ingredients we find at the market. Arrive early or pre-order for the best selection. Here's their current menu:

*  Mushroom & Kale Pie: Assorted mushrooms and kale in a rich white wine and Parmesan cream sauce.

*  Steak & Ale Pie: A hearty beef stew with tender carrots, shallots, and fragrant herbs.

*  Chicken Balti Pie: A flavorful stew featuring chicken, tomatoes, and our special blend of curry spices.

*  More-Rockin' Vegan Pie: A delightful combination of zucchini, yellow squash, sweet potato, and golden raisins in a North African spiced tomato sauce.

  • Kikwetu Kenya Coffee Company (Chicago) will have Mama Oyoo frying up some Cardamom and Coconut Mandazis, specialty cold brews (Lavender Bee, Asali Rose, and Bourbon Bae), hot coffee, regular cold brew, whole beans, and bottles of cold brew to take home. Stay tuned for new items arriving in June!

  • Montelmar Bread Company (Evanston, IL) will have a variety of freshly baked bread and tasty pastries. Some new items are Spelt Sourdough bread, onion strip (Onion,Permasian cheese and Olive), and Gibassierl

  • Yoberri Gourmet (Chicago) is back at the market and they can’t wait to see you! They’re bringing the flavor with fan favorites like Blueberry Lavender Yogurt, Bourbon Vanilla Ice Cream, and Peach Champagne Sorbet. Plus, they’ve got a brand new flavor this week: Brownie Batter Ice Cream. It starts with a rich chocolate brownie batter base and is packed with chunks of our homemade fudgy brownies - smooth, chewy, and every chocolate lover’s dream. Cool off with Yoberri Gourmet’s handcrafted frozen treats - small batch ice cream, dairy-free sorbets, creamy frozen yogurt, and cold-pressed juices. 

  • Cyrano’s On The Go! (Chicago) Chef Didier will bring wild mushroom soup, a new curried cauliflower, jalapeño & pear soup, venison terrine and lamb rillettes, Spanish bell pepper quiche, wild chive pesto and escargots. Pick up the last of the cassoulet this season and some Coq au vin, plus the usual goodies.

  • Meze Table (Chicago) will have Spanakopita & Kotopita (Greek chicken pot pie), Dolmades, Tzatziki Chicken Salad, Seasonal Soups Including: Lemon Lentil Soup, Mushroom Soup, Spring Pea Soup, Dips & Cheese Spreads: Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Skordalia, Tzatziki Htipiti, Blueberry Habenero Goat Cheese Dressings & Assorted Pickled things, Greek Salad Dressing, Roasted Garlic Rosemary Dressing, Pickled Onions, Balsamic Onions and Fresh Pesto.

  • Lemaster Family Kitchen will have a new version of their Za’atar spice that reflects the versatility they pride themselves in. Their new version splits the difference between Lebanese and Egyptian styles with the addition of marjoram, a little cumin, and coriander. They love their Za’atar on hummus, in olive oil to dip, or on flatbread with some caramelized onion. Works perfectly in any recipe that calls for Za'atar! They will also have their Chinese 5 spice which is great for general stir fry, Szechuan, and Kung Pao dishes.
