Created in 2008 by James Bishop, who set out to make the tastiest hot sauce with real heat and lower sodium, Quarter Mile is built on a secret family recipe and organically grown habanero peppers from the family farm in Pembroke, IL. His wife Dorcas and their two daughters encouraged him to share his famous sauce with the world—and we’re so glad he did!  

From planting to fermenting, this family-run business takes pride in every step.
