Hyde Park Farmers Market returns Sunday

The Hyde Park Farmers Market returns to the parking lot behind the Hyde Park Bank Building at 54th Street and Lake Park Avenue West this Sunday.

…The market partners with Link Up Illinois, meaning purchases made through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will be matched up to $25 per transaction.

The Hyde Park Farmers Market returns to the parking lot behind the Hyde Park Bank Building at 54th Street and Lake Park Avenue West this Sunday.

This year's market will feature 20 vendors selling fresh produce, flowers, coffee, honey, jams, soaps, baked goods, hot foods and beauty products. Vendors are subject to change each week, and throughout the season the market will also host several pop-up vendors, live music and children's activities. A ribbon-cutting will take place at 11:30 a.m.

The market partners with Link Up Illinois, meaning purchases made through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will be matched up to $25 per transaction.

The 17th annual Andersonville Farmers Market (AFM) will return on Wednesdays from 3 – 7 pm from May 13 – October 21, 2026 on the 1500 block of W. Winona (from Clark St. to Ashland Ave.) and the adjacent AT&T parking lot. Featuring more than 60 vendors, everything sold at the Andersonville Farmers Market is grown or produced within a 200-mile radius, offering the community access to fresh, local food. The 24-week market will feature a variety of sustainability oriented programming for all ages and will also continue to feature entertainment, with weekly performances, cooking demos and dedicated kids’ activities….

…The market continues its popular Link matching program, featuring a one-to-one match for Link card holders with vouchers good for fresh fruits and vegetables. Link Up Illinois is making healthy, local, farm-fresh foods more affordable and accessible by doubling the value of Link purchases at farmers markets, farm stands, food co-ops and independent grocery and corner stores across Illinois.
