Join us for Fly the Co-op, a ride connecting five of Chicago’s non profit bike shops. These spaces are rooted in community, education, equity, and empowerment.
Sunday, July 13
|
Starting at The Recyclery in Rogers Park, we’ll head to Bikes N’ Roses in Albany Park, swing through West Town Bikes, cruise down to Working Bikes near Pilsen, and end with a celebration at Blackstone Bicycle Works on the South Side.

This is more than just a ride.
You'll hear stories that highlight how bikes can build skills, confidence, and connection.
You’ll meet the young people, volunteers, and staff who keep our shops rolling, and see how they are using the bicycle as a tool for transformation.
Even though we aren’t all structured as traditional co-ops, we move with a cooperative spirit:
We are community-driven and mission-based.
We provide access, education, and opportunity, especially for those left out of traditional cycling spaces.
We center equity, sustainability, and shared power.
We believe in building more than bikes, we build people, movements, and momentum.
Fly the Co-op is our way of celebrating that shared ethic, and inviting you into it. We’re riding for people and our communities.
We’ll wrap it all up with an after-party at Blackstone Bicycle Works, featuring food, music, and community vibes.
Come for the ride, stay for the party!
