This month, The Portal returns with a special Friendsgiving-themed gathering — a warm, community-centered edition focused on fellowship, creativity, and shared nourishment.

✨ What’s new this month:
• A Friendsgiving twist featuring community cooks from the local arts scene
• Conversation + connection around food access and sovereign food futures with the Chicago Food Sovereignty Coalition
• A live performance of the original album Friendsgiving by Club Crib, followed by an open jam session with the community
• And keep an eye out… there might be a pop-up fashion show! 👀✨

The Portal is a hybrid art series led by Sam Thousand and Chibrations, bringing musicians, dancers, visual artists, and creators of all kinds into one shared space to experiment, build, and connect.
