Next City is a nonprofit news organization reporting on solutions for more sustainable, accessible, inclusive, and equitable cities. Vanguard brings that mission to life by convening an annual cohort of rising urban innovators from across the country.

This intentionally cross-sector and interdisciplinary gathering brings together policymakers, architects, urban planners, artists, media makers, advocates, and nonprofit leaders. Together, these creative problem-solvers explore solutions to pressing urban issues, share ideas, and learn from one another in real time to help shape a more just future for communities everywhere.
