Don’t Need a Reason: A Live Music & Conversation Experience
March 5 | 7–10PM
📍 Experimental Station
6100 S. Blackstone Ave, Chicago
An Artists Jam/Expo by Yusef Agency returns to Experimental Station with a new theme: “Don’t Need a Reason.”
This live music experience blends soul, hip-hop, and R&B with honest conversation about pursuing a career in music. Holding on to music as a calling is often met with resistance. Artists face pressure from society, family expectations, and economic realities—making it difficult to maintain integrity and confidence in their craft.
Each featured artist will perform an original set and reflect on the tensions they’ve faced while choosing music—not because it’s easy, but because it’s necessary.
Through performance and dialogue, the evening explores what it means to love music without apology.
Featured Artists
Dawn Ali • TT & Luca • Waine Ghazi • Carlon Rosales • Sangram • Daryn Alexus
Free and open to the public. All ages welcome. Refreshments will be provided.
