Wandering Mercuries Traveling Film Festival

Mon, Aug 6, 2012. 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Please join us at the Experimental Station this coming Monday, August 6, from 7-9pm for the Wandering Mercuries Traveling Film Festival, a traveling exhibit of independent films that have made their way to Chicago by bicycle from Providence, Rhode Island, with over 12 city stops and 15 screenings in cafes, parks, co-ops, and other community centers along the way. Over the course of the evening, the Wandering Mercuries Film Festival will screen 15-20 shorts from a selection of over 50+ short films (animation, film, video).

This grassroots effort has been organized and transported by Brenden Cicoria, a 2013 undergraduate of RISD's Film/Animation/Video program, and Ronald Lewis, a 2012 graduate of CCRI’s performing arts program.

The evening is free and open to the public. Experimental Station (6100 S. Blackstone) is accessible for persons with handicaps. Please enter on Blackstone
