Here are some of this week's special holiday highlights:

To officially mark our holiday season, Abbey Brown Soaps will return to the Market with their extensive line of gourmet soaps and bath products. They make fabulous gifts for women and men!

We are also excited to welcome Sunkissed Organics to the Market for the holiday season. Sunkissed Organics will be offering Holly Wreaths, Mixed Greenery Wreaths, tabletop Christmas trees (both spruce and juniper) that you can transplant in your garden or yard, as well as edible organic winter squash.

For a fun, unusual and edible gift, offer a Mushroom-Farm-In-A-Box from River Valley Ranch. River Valley also has excellent caramel popcorn—a perfect stocking stuffer!

If you are looking for a really unusual—but surely appreciated—gift, why not think about offering the omnivore on your list a beautiful organic and pasture-raised pork, beef, or lamb roast from Faith's Farm or Mint Creek Farm? I can guarantee that it will not be re-gifted.

In addition to their line of delicious prepared soups, salsas and preserves, Tomato Mountain will once again be offering their outstanding organic lettuce and spinach. Nothing like hoop houses for giving us a taste of spring in December!

Subterranean Foods will be offering their holiday menu of Breakfast/Brunch Tacos (egg/pork cracklins/cilantro/onion and egg/spinach/mushrooms/cilantro/onion), Breakfast/Brunch Burritos (egg/pork cracklins/rice/beans/potatoes and egg/rice/beans/spinach/mushroom), and Butternut Squash Soup.

At 10:30am, Chef Jelani Shaw will be offering a tasting of Curried Chicken in Roasted Acorn Squash.

This Saturday and next, from 10am-5pm, Blackstone Bicycle Works will be holding a 25% off bike sale! With each bike purchase, receive a coupon for 20% off a Full Tune Up on any bike from January through March. Also, to help you keep riding throughout the winter, Blackstone will also be offering a 15-minute Winter Biking Clinic at 12pm on the Experimental Station mezzanine. Enter through the Market entrance.

Lastly, to further warm the atmosphere of the Market and to thank you for contributing to your local economy, we will be offering hot holiday cider from Ellis Family Farms!
