LINK Up Illinois: How to Use Double-Value at a Farmers Market

LINK UP Illinois final logo_out 72dpi web.jpg

LINK Up Illinois helps farmers markets to offer double value coupons to their LINK customers.

For each dollar you spend with your LINK card at a participating farmers market, you will receive a $1 coupon. So if you buy $10 of food with your LINK card, you get $10 more for free. You can spend these coupons on any LINK-approved foods at the market, but they are not redeemable for cash or change.

Each market has it’s own way of using double value coupons, so look for the information booth at the market to learn more. Some markets use tokens, while others use paper coupons. Most markets limit the total amount of coupons you can receive in one day, and coupons are only available while funds lasts.
