The Experimental Station is very pleased to invite you to join us on Friday, April 2, at 8pm for THE PEOPLE SPEAK, a film narrated by the late Howard Zinn—acclaimed author, historian, and political scientist, who died this past January. The film is sponsored by the International Socialist Organization. Suggested donation for THE PEOPLE SPEAK: $6; Solidarity $10. The event is handicapped accessible.
The Experimental Station invites you to join us on Wednesday, April 7, at 7pm, for a panel discussion entitled "Women, Water, and Population." Sponsored and organized by the Izaak Walton League and Sierra Club, the discussion will "explore the connections among population growth, water supply and demand, environmental protection, reproductive health and rights, and global justice issues," exposing participants to "population-environment challenges from a justice lens: the history of the issue, what is at stake, and the solutions."
We are pleased to invite you to join WBEZ Chicago Public Radio and the Invisible Institute—a program of Experimental Station—for a not-to-miss community conversation about racial fairness in juvenile justice entitled "Singled Out: Why are Black and Brown Youth Arrested and Incarcerated at Higher Rates than White Youth?."
