Blackstone Bicycle Works sells refurbished bicycles, new bicycles and a complete line of basic bicycle accessories that will keep you rolling smoothly along. We also have an active repair and service department that will give you quality work at very reasonable prices.
The hard working, thriving business operations at Blackstone provide the basic foundation for our education mission. We want children to see and participate in this activity. The dollars you spend with us in our retail operation, keeps our doors open and allows us to expand our educational resources.
Sustainable practices
Located in the green building that houses the Experimental Station, a non-profit cultural incubator in the South Side neighborhood of Woodlawn, Blackstone Bicycle Works is a project dedicated to conservation. We perceive cycling not only as a potential solution to many of the problems faced by our slice of Chicago, but as part of a bigger strategy to reduce our environmental footprint as a culture.
